Located at the mouth of Tampa Bay, St Petersburg is just minutes away from great fishing in Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Tampa Bay has one of the largest and most diverse estuaries in all of Florida.
You’ll fish the grassy flats and mangroves of the extensive Tampa Bay estuary for the Southeast’s favorite inshore catches including Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel and Spotted Sea Trout (Speckled Trout).
There’s also plenty of Snook, a favorite inshore saltwater species of Central and South Florida. You may also encounter Tarpon on a backcountry fishing trip with Captain Dmitri.
Inshore Reef Fishing in St Petersburg, Florida
The deeper waters of Tampa Bay offer great coastal bottom fishing!
We’ll bottom fish the reefs and shipping channels of Tampa Bay in up to 50 feet of water for bottom dwelling saltwater species such as Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Mangrove Snapper and Lane Snapper. Tampa Bay is also home to King Mackerel, Jack Crevalle and even TripleTails!
An Inshore Reef Fishing Charter is a great way to experience true saltwater coastal fishing but in calmer waters than fishing offshore.
